 Cloth cleaner for the outer slide
REKA
's outer slide cleaner is a further component of our Cleaning Set for trombone. It is designed for easy removal of dust and grit deposited by the inner slide. These materials can act
as abrasively on the delicate slide surface, thus negatively affecting movement and eventually damaging the slide. Therefore, it is important to wipe the inner and outer slide tubes before
each new application of lubricant.
Instructions for use:
Pass the ball at the end of the cord into the lower outer slide (the water key side). Work it
through the slide, around the bow, and back out again through the opposite tube. When it comes out the mouthpiece end, grasp it to pull the cleaning cloth slowly and smoothly through the slide. The cloth is washable.

REKA -  DES cleaner:
To clean the â€grunge†out, disinfect and remove mineral deposits, we recommend soaking the rubber sponge in REKA-DES before cleaning. It is also an ideal addition to the instrument bath.
When the instrument has been cleaned, clean the rubber sponge with REKA-DES to remove germs. This will increase the service life of your Cleaning Set.
